Carrot Halwa

Ingredients

Carrot
- ½ kg
•
Ghee
- 50 milliliters
•
Milk
- 1 cup
•
Sugar
- ½ cup
•
Khoas
- ½ cup
•
Cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Saffron
- a pinch
•
Cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon
•
Almonds
- 1 tablespoon
•
Raisins
- ½ tablespoon
•
Pistachios
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Grate
carrots
, transfer them into a bowl.
2.
Heat
ghee
in a pan and
add
the grated
carrots
in it.
3.
Cook
for 15 minutes over low
heat
.
4.
Add
milk
.
Mix
well.
5.
Add
sugar
.
Stir
until the
sugar
dissolves.
6.
Add
khoa
.
Stir
well.
7.
Add
cardamom powder
and
saffron
.
Mix
well.
8.
Add
cashew nut
,
almonds
,
raisins
and
pistachio
.
Mix
well.
Cook
for 5 more minutes.
9. Garnish with
cashew nut
and
almonds
.
10.
Serve
hot.
