Cabbage And Brussels Sprouts In Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

Spring onions
- 1 bunch
•
Brussels sprout
- 100 grams
•
Capsicums
- 2
•
Chinese cabbage
- ½
•
Ajinomoto
- ½ teaspoon
•
White pepper powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Sugar
- 1 tablespoon
•
Oil (for frying)
- as required
•
Corn flour
- 2 tablespoons
•
Soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon
•
Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons
•
8 to 8 sauce
- 2 teaspoons
Ingredients For Grinding To A Paste
•
Garlic
- 3 flakes
•
Red chillies
- 3
•
Ginger
- ½ inch piece
Method
1.
Cut
spring onion
into length-wise pieces and
onion
stem into 1 inch long pieces.
2.
Dice
capsicum
into 1 inch cubes.
3. Shred
cabbage
into thin long pieces.
4.
Mix
corn flour
with all the
sauces
and 1 ½ cups
water
.
5.
Heat
a little
oil
and
fry
diced
onion
, whole
brussels sprouts
with
Ajinomoto
for two minutes.
Mix
ground paste
and
fry
for a minute.
6.
Add
prepared
sauce
mixture
,
salt
,
sugar
,
pepper
and
cook
stirring
constantly till
sauce
gets a shine.
Pour
more
water
if necessary.
7.
Add
shredded
cabbage
and
onion
stem, switch off the stove immediately. Close with lid and
serve
after five minutes.
