Broccoli Raita

Ingredients
•
Broccolis (chopped)
- ½ cup
•
Curd
- 1 cup
•
Green chillies
- 2
•
Ginger (minced)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon
•
Curry leaves
- 4
•
Salt
- as required
•
Oil
- 1 teaspoon
•
Carrots (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon
(optional)
Method
1.
Wash
and
grate
or
chop
broccoli
.
2. Finely
chop
green chillies
and mince
ginger
well.
3. Beat
curd
and
keep
side.
4. In a wok or pan
heat
oil
add
cumin seeds
and allow it to splutter.
5.
Add
ginger
,
chillies
curry leaves
and saute until
ginger
becomes light brown.
6.
Add
broccoli
,
salt
and saute for 3-4 minutes in medium flame or until
broccoli
gets cooked but still crunchy.
7.
Add
cooked
broccoli
to
curd
and
mix
well.
8. Adjust
salt
if required.
9.
Serve
as it as or chilled.
10. Garnish with chopped
carrot
if you wish, I do that to
add
colour and crunchiness to the raita.
