Bread Dhokla

Ingredients

Bread slices
- 10
•
Oil
- 2 tablespoons
•
Fine rawa
- 2 tablespoons
•
Ginger-green chilly paste
- ½ teaspoon
•
Red chilly powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Onions (finely cut)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Salt
- ½ teaspoon
•
Sour curd
- ½ cup
•
Eno fruit salt
- 1 tablespoon
•
Cooking soda/Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon
•
Garam masala powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Coriander leaves (cut)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Curry leaves (cut)
- 1 tablespoon
Method
1.
Remove
brown crusts from bread.
2.
Soak
in
sour curds
for 10 minutes and then
mash
well.
3.
Mix
in fried
onions
,
rawa
,
ginger-green chilly paste
and
salt
.
4. Grease a
baking
dish.
5. Put
ENO fruit salt
to the bread
mixture
,
stir
gently and
pour
on
baking
dish.
6.
Bake
in moderate oven till light brown on top.
7. Sprinkle
red chilly powder
,
garam masala powder
,
coriander
and
curry leaves
.
8.
Cut
into squares and
serve
with tomato ketchup and mint chutney.
