Boondhi Raita

Ingredients
•
Gram flour
- 2 tablespoons
•
Cumin seeds (roasted)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Baking powder
- 1 pinch
•
Chilly powder
- as required
•
Curd
- 1 cup
•
Coriander leaves
- 4
•
Ghee
- 2 tablespoons
Method
1.
Mix
the channa
flour
and
baking
powder
and
mix
into a soft
paste
.
2. Do not
add
salt
.
3.
Heat
ghee
in a deep
frying
pan.
4. Pass the dough through a thick sieve directly on to the hot
ghee
, so that it falls in small balls.
5.
Fry
these till brown, and
drain
.
6. When cool,
soak
them in the raita.
7.
Add
cumin seeds
.
8. Decorate with
chilly
.
9. Garnish with
coriander leaves
.
