Bhatura

Ingredients
•
Maida
- 2 cups
•
Curd (fresh, thick)
- ½ cup
•
Milk
- ¼ cup
•
Oil (for the dough)
- 1 ½ teaspoons
•
Cooking soda
- 3 pinches
•
Salt
- ¾ teaspoon
Method
1.
Blend
salt
,
soda
and
oil
to the flour in -
mixing
bowl.
2.
Pour
curds
,
milk
and knead well. (If necessary
add
more
milk
while kneading).
3.
Keep
closed for 2 to 3 hours.
4.
Roll
out as mentioned in previous recipes.
5. Deep
fry
in hot
oil
.
Note
• Knead the bhatura dough well for several times.
• Do not use chapati press for
making
bhaturas.
•
Roll
out evenly and little thicker than normal puris.
• As we are
making
this at home
make
normal puri sized bhaturas,so that
oil
consumption will be less.
