Badaami Chicken Tikka

Ingredients
•
Chicken tikka (boneless, cubed)
- 500 grams
•
Dahi/Yogurt (thick)
- ½ cup
•
Malai/Thick cream
- ½ cup
•
Badaams/Almond paste
- 3 tablespoons
•
White pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons
•
Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons
•
Onion paste
- 2 tablespoons
•
Butter
- 2 tablespoons
•
Salt
- as required
•
Arrowroots
- 2 tablespoons
•
Oil (for basting)
- as required
Method
1.
Melt
the
butter
,
add
onion paste
and brown slightly.
Add
garlic paste
.
2.
Fry
until golden brown,
mix
with the remaining
ingredients
.
3.
Marinate
the
chicken
in this for 3-4 hours.
4. Skewer the
tikkas
and
cook
over hot charcoal until tender golden.
5. Baste with
oil
2-3 times.
Serve
piping hot with chutney and fresh
onion
rings.
