Babycorn Salt And Pepper

Ingredients

Babycorns
- 15
•
Cornflours
- 5 tablespoons
•
Black peppercorns (crushed)
- ½ teaspoon
•
Spring onions (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon
•
Garlic (chopped)
- 4 cloves
•
Ginger (chopped)
- 1 inch
•
Green chillies (chopped)
- 2
•
Oil
- as required
•
Salt
- as required
Method
1. Parboil the
babycorns
.
Drain
.
Slice
diagonally.
2. Put
babycorns
into a bowl,
add
cornflour
,
salt
and half of the crushed
black peppercorns
.
Mix
well.
3. Deep
fry
babycorn
slices in
oil
until golden brown.
Drain
on absorbent paper.
4.
Heat
2 tablespoons of
oil
in a wok.
5.
Add
spring onions
,
green chillies
,
ginger
and
garlic
and sauté for 2 minutes.
6.
Add
deep fried
babycorns
,
salt
and remaining crushed
peppercorns
. Sauté for about a minute.
