Apple Halwa

Ingredients

Apples
- 3
•
Ghee
- 1 ½ tablespoons
•
Sugar
- ½ cup
•
Cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Nutmegs
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Cinnamon powder
- ¼ teaspoon
•
Almonds (for garnishing)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Pistas (for garnishing)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cashew nuts (for garnishing)
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Wash
apples
and
grate
them in a bowl.
2.
Heat
ghee
in a heavy pan,
add
the grated
apples
and
cook
for 7 - 8 minutes or till they thicken.
3.
Add
sugar
and
mix
well.
4.
Add
cardamom powder
,
nutmeg
,
cinnamon powder
and
cook
until all the
water
evaporates.
5. Garnish with sliced
almond
,
pista
and
cashew nut
.
