Ingredients

Rice flour
- 1 cup
•
Asafoetida
- ½ teaspoon
•
Salt
- as required
•
Green chillies (finely chopped)
- 4
•
Ginger (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon
•
Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Onions (finely chopped)
- ½ cup
•
Curry leaves
- 1 sprig
•
Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup
•
Water
- as required
•
Oil (for greasing)
- as required
Method
1. In a bowl,
add
rice flour
,
asafoetida
,
salt
,
green chilly
,
ginger
,
cumin seeds
,
onion
,
curry leaves
and
coriander leaves
.
2. Knead the
mixture
into a loose soft dough using sufficient
water
.
3. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
4.
Heat
a tava (griddle) and grease it with ¼ tsp of
oil
.
5. Take a portion of the dough and place it in the centre of the greased tava (griddle).
6. Flatten the dough with wet fingers to
make
a 250 mm (6) diameter circle.
7. Drizzle ½ tsp of
oil
evenly over it and
cook
on both the sides till they turn golden brown in colour.
8.
Serve
immediately. Enjoy!
