Gooseberries in Brine

Ingredients

1. Scrape outer skin and cut ginger into thin rounds.
2. Select even sized green chilly, wash and dry over a cloth to remove excess moisture.
3. Wash gooseberries and dry over a cloth. Prick around using a fine, clean needle.
4. Heat water with salt and turmeric powder. Allow to boil until salt dissolves completely.
5. Add gooseberries and take out from fire immediately.
6. Allow to cool and put it in a dry bottle or jar.
7. Mix green chilly, ginger, sesame oil and lemon juice to that.
8. Allow to soak for few days.
9. Mix with a dry laddie once everyday until gooseberries absorb the spices.
