Avarekalu Gasagase Payasa

Ingredients
•
Avarekalus/Dehusked beans
- ½ cup
•
Coconut milk
- 1 cup
•
Milk (boiled)
- 1 cup
•
Poppy seeds
- 3 tablespoons
•
Sugar
- ¼ cup
•
Cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon
•
Ghee
- 2 tablespoons
•
Cashew nuts
- 1 teaspoon
•
Almonds
- 1 teaspoon
•
Raisins
- 1 teaspoon
Method
1.
Heat
a pan
add
ghee
and dry fruits
fry
till it turns golden brown and
keep
in a bowl.
2. In the same pan
add
poppy seeds
,
dehusked beans
and
fry
for 2 minutes.
3. Turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
4. Take the blender
add
the fried
poppy seeds
and
dehusked beans
coarsely
grind
it.
5. Now
heat
the deep kadai with
adding
Tablespoon of
ghee
and grinded
paste
with
coconut milk
, boiled
milk
and
sugar
and bring it to
boil
.
6. Once it starts
boiling
add
fried dry fruits and
cardamom powder
,
mix
it well and
serve
.
